Both the System 8 and TorqTronics 2 are equipped with transducer overload alarms and quality protection protocols called "Fail-Safe Engineering." When a transducer is taken to 120% or more of the rated capacity the Fail-Safe Engineering protocols are triggered. Tester functionality changes, a flashing red LED can attract attention from across a room. There are other indicators on the tester display screen telling workers to ensure that the transducer is tested prior to returning it to service. Once verified that the transducer is fully functional and may be returned to service, use one of the available Terminal programs to reset the Fail-Safe Engineering protocol and return the transducer to normal function. Multiple Terminal programs are available for use. Be sure that the Terminal program you select is compatible with your operating system.

The Exacta 2 interfaces with Exawin. Please note that Exawin is not functional with all versions of Microsoft operating systems. You must operate in Windows 7, Windows XP, or Virtual XP.
